ANNOTATIONS

In this set of work, I tried to experiment using different angles of how I held the camera. Often, I wouldn't even of had a view of what the camera was seeing , I wouldn't of been looking through a viewfinder or on screen. This made the shoot more difficult, but it also allowed me to conceal the camera better; thus getting a better image as the person wasn't aware to it.

These edits were done in the darkroom on acetate, I experimented with layering and applying some contrast to the image on photoshop before.

I experimented with inversion and selected threshold edits of the subjects in photoshop, I was inspired by some of Francis Bacons work in these edits, specifically his 1952 study for head, below.
