DARKROOM
The effects that actually printing out the images and developing in them in the darkroom provides an effect to them. There is a more worn and grainy image which comes out.
ANNOTATIONS
Inspired by Meatyard, I went out to attempt to document no people, only objects that intrigued me by their positioning and what they were in the environment. I attempted to encapsulate a feeling without photographing a person.
EDITS
I am inspired by industrial decay and its affects on the suburbs of Northern England, my edits try to exaggerate the severity of the feel of this in the image.
DARKROOM
I tried to experiment with layering in the darkroom, not only with images and objects but with light too. I used a dark piece of card to obscure some of the image whilst the light shone on another section of it. It has created a nice effect, specifically the one on the bottom right, it reminds me of the twin towers.
